Alaska Studio was founded in 2005 by Travis Tollefsen when he decided to merge his love for the outdoors with the passion of his photography creating some of the most stunning images of Alaska

Alaska Studio specializes in Nature, Wildlife, and Aurora photography. We are currently expanding into Portraits, Weddings, and Model Portfolios.

Nature and Wildlife photography has provided us with some of the most memorable times as everything is so unpredictable. As you are out there shooting you never know if that next shot you take will be "the shot of a lifetime." This is how we formed our company's motto, "Make a picture worth a thousand words."

Portraits too have been giving us quite a bit of enjoyment. You learn a lot from nature that you can bring into the "real life" such as the fact that you never know what people are going to do next, and how to create a photo that will capture the natural beauty, and happiness of a person so they can remember it for the rest of thier lives. We always remeber to live every day as it is our last, and remember our company's motto, "Make a picture worth a thousand words."

Our equipment

Alaska Studio primarily uses all Nikon equipment to ensure that all images taken are of the highest quality standard. For studio work we only use high grade Alien Bee strobe lights to ensure accurate, and consistant results.
